Self-Portrait vs Selfie

1. What is a "selfie"? A selfie is photo of you and maybe others while you are the photographer or the one taking the photo.

2. A self portrait is a photo or painting or something of you done or taken by someone else.

There is a difference. A selfie is just a photo of you taken by you while your holding the camera but a self portrait is a photo or painting taken or drawn by someone else but can be a photo taken by you. a self portrait includes you posing but a selfie may be a weird pose but also may be with someone else too.
